What Watermark PDF does

Watermark PDF stamps a diagonal text overlay across every page of your document. Type the text you want — DRAFT, CONFIDENTIAL, COPY, your company name, or any custom message — set the opacity, and Slate draws it across all pages at a 45-degree angle. The watermark becomes part of each page, so it travels with the document wherever it goes.

Opacity settings

Opacity controls how transparent the watermark appears. At 10%, the text is barely visible — useful as a subtle branding mark. At 30%, the watermark is clearly readable but does not overpower the content. At 50%, the text is bold and prominent, which is appropriate for DRAFT or CONFIDENTIAL stamps that need to be impossible to miss. Choose the level that matches your purpose.
